  • We will never share your profile or CV with a potential partner or employer without asking you first.

  • Survey responses are only ever published in aggregate, and never in a way that identifies you.

  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing info@two-plus-talent.co.uk.

The rest of this notice explains the detail.

Sensitive information

When you tell us why you are looking for a job share, you may choose to mention things like your health, a disability, pregnancy or caring responsibilities. Under data protection law, some of this counts as "special category" information and needs extra protection.

You do not need to share this kind of information with us. If you choose to, we will only use it with your explicit consent, and only to understand what you are looking for and to find the right match. We will not share it with a potential partner or employer unless you ask us to.

How we use your information, and why

Data protection law requires us to have a valid reason, known as a "lawful basis", for each way we use your information. Here is what we do and why.

To understand your experience and what you're looking for, and to identify potential partners and roles.
We do this because it is in our legitimate interests to run a matching service, and because you have asked us to help you.

To share your profile with a potential job-share partner or employer.
We only do this with your consent, which we ask for each time.

To use any sensitive information you choose to share.
We only do this with your explicit consent.

To respond to enquiries from businesses and work with them on roles.
We do this because it is in our legitimate interests.

To analyse and publish anonymised survey results.
We do this with your consent, which you give when you take part.

To send you updates or news.
We only do this if you opt in, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

To keep records needed for legal, tax or regulatory reasons.
We do this because the law requires it.

About technology and automated tools.

We may use software, including AI tools, to help us organise information, for example to summarise CVs or highlight possible matches. These tools support our work; they do not make decisions about you. Every decision about who to introduce to whom is made by the two of us.

Who we share your information with

Potential job-share partners. Because our model involves two professionals sharing one role, we may want to introduce you to another candidate. We will always ask you before sharing your profile, and we will only share what is needed for that introduction.

Prospective employers. We will never send your CV or details to a business without your agreement.

Service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect your information:

  • Wix (website hosting)

  • Tally (forms)

  • Google Workspace (email provider)

  • ChatGPT and Claude (AI tools)

  • Others, where the law requires it, for example regulators or law enforcement.

We do not sell your information, and we never will.

International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process information outside the UK. When this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as transfers to countries the UK recognises as providing adequate protection, or approved contractual terms.

How long we keep your information

  • Professionals: for 2 years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you are placed in a role, we keep records for 6 years for legal and accounting reasons.

  • Business contacts: for as long as we are working together, and for 2 years afterwards.

  • Survey responses: raw responses are deleted within 12 months of the survey closing. Published results are anonymised and contain no personal information.

  • Marketing: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.

  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.

  • Ask us to delete your information.

  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information.

  • Ask us to transfer your information to you or someone else in a usable format.

  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@two-plus-talent.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
